Experience: Approximately 25% of practice is devoted to serving as neutral (Mediator, Arbitrator, Referee) in Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings involving personal injury claims, contract disputes, employment claims, torts, products liability, business disputes, real estate construction and governmental claims. Over 25 years experience as a civil litigator; approximately 75% of practice is in the Employment and Labor Law area including employment discrimination, arbitration, covenants not to compete, collective bargaining negotiations, wage & hour disputes, wrongful discharge, unfair labor practice charges, civil rights (Section 1983), defamation and other employment related tort actions; admitted to and/or practices before Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, Indiana Civil Rights Commission, IOSHA and Indiana Worker's Compensation Board. Practiced on a limited Admission basis in KY, TN, OH, IL, and MI.
 
Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience: Selected and served as mediator in over 500 civil litigation mediations concerning various civil disputes/claims including employment, personal injury, contract, tort, public education, construction, real estate, environmentally eminent domain, products liability and family law since becoming a Certified Mediator under the ADR rules adopted in Indiana in 1992; Served as Referee (Arbitrator) through the Duke University Private Adjudication Center in approximately 30 cases relating to the Dalkon Shield class action litigation; Served individually as sole Arbitrator as well as a Panel Member (as third Arbitrator/Neutral selected by first two Arbitrators) in resolution of personal injury claims; Advocate in over 200 arbitrations and/or mediations primarily in employment related litigation, claims and grievances.
 
ADR Memberships: Indiana State Bar Association (ADR Section) (Council Member 2001-2003; Employment and Labor Section); Evansville Bar Association (ADR Section) (President 1993-1994, ADR Section-Chair 2003-2004).
