Linda Vuchetich, RN, CLNC is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant
with greater than 30 years of critical care nursing and nursing management expertise. Her years of clinical experience bring knowledge of nursing practice at the bedside, standards of care, and expected patient outcomes.  
 
Through direct involvement in policy and procedure development, quality review, preparation for regulatory surveys, and nursing education, Ms. Vuchetich brings a unique, impartial perspective to determining the merit of a case, chart review, discovery, and trial preparation. This background allows for comprehensive and judicious review of medical data, getting to the “heart” of the matter in a timely fashion.  
 
Ms. Vuchetich has successfully assisted in medical malpractice, personal injury, workmen's compensation, wrongful termination, and other types of litigation.

SERVICES PROVIDED:  
 
  • Screen or investigate cases for merit.  
  • Define the applicable standards of care (including adherence and deviations).  
  • Assess the alleged damages and/or injuries.  
  • Identify factors that caused or contributed to the alleged damages and/or injuries.  
  • Review, interpret, and summarize medical records; hospital policies and procedures, other essential documents and tangible items.  
  • Identify and recommend potential defendants.  
  • Conduct research and summarize pertinent medical literature, integrating into case analysis.  
  • Identify and locate qualified expert and testifying witnesses essential to case.  
  • Serve as liaison between the attorney and healthcare providers, testifying experts, parties, witnesses and other consultants.  
  • Prepare interrogatories and summarize depositions.  
  • Review and draft responses to various legal documents and correspondence for attorney's signature.  
  • Prepare chronologic timeline of medical events. Assist in exhibit preparation.  
  • Help prepare witnesses and experts for deposition and trial.  
  • Develop written reports for use as study tools by the attorney.  
  • Coordinate and attend independent medical examinations (IME).  
  • Coordinate and assist in facilitating focus groups and mock trials.  
  • Assist in cases of wrongful termination and the investigative process used in the nursing profession.
