Currently, Stephanie J. Creary conducts organizational research for the Harvard Business School and The Conference Board, Inc. that includes
a focus on recruiting, retaining, and advancing the careers of people with disabilities. Recently, she advised a federal planning group that proposed
a research agenda examining the recruitment, retention, and career advancement of people with disabilities.
 
Since 2000, she has held the positions of staff speech-language pathologist, per diem speech-language pathologist, interim lead speech-language pathologist, and interim rehabilitation manager in a number of hospital, rehabilitation, outpatient, skilled nursing, long term care, home and public school settings. Clinically, she has specialized in the assessment and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders, neurologically-based communication disorders, and cognitively-based communication disorders. She is also highly skilled in performing and interpreting videofluoroscopic/ modified barium swallowing studies (VFSS/MBS). In 2002, she founded a professional education firm designed to grow continuing education services and develop institutional relationships locally and provide training programs for speech-language pathologists.
