Robert P. "Bob" Smith received his Masters of Science Degree in Electrical
Engineering from Stanford University in 1979. His 30 year tenure in high
tech spans a career that began in analog circuit design and led to leadership
roles in marketing, business development, and executive management.
He has extensive experience with startups. |
|
|
In addition to his marketing and business development background,
his hands-on practical experience includes contract development and
negotiation, intellectual property licensing, negotiation of joint development
projects and IP, software licensing, software pricing models, and mergers
and acquisitions. He has participated directly in two high tech IPOs
(Synopsys: SNPS and Magma Design Automation: LAVA) as a primary
author of the prospectus document. He is particularly adept at taking highly
technical concepts and communicating them in a way that non-technical
people can grasp either through written documents, presentations, or both. |
