I, Robert A. Nash, MD, FAAN, BS, MS (EE), combine my engineer's search
for causation with the knowledge of 32 years as a practicing neurologist
specializing in pain medicine, sleep re-regulation, and vascular diseases
(with a specialized knowledge of toxic metals and their health effects) to
sort out secondary gain from true injury in accident cases. I have been an
expert witness for both plaintiff and defense. I prefer to be an expert for the
defense. I began my medical-legal career when I was involved on the national
scene as an expert in the Guillain-Barre syndrome cases caused by the swine
flu vaccine in the late 1970s. I have experience reviewing records, doing
Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), and in giving depositions and
court appearances. My physiognomy and ability to explain complex medical
matters in layman's terms have usually resulted in 9 out of 10 cases I've
participated in being decided for the side for which I was retained. I have
devoted most of my professional life to treating patients. I'm now easing out
of active patient practice and wish to use my experience and knowledge. |

I have great experience with toxic metals and their health effects. This will
become an increasing area of litigation in the future. I have taught multiple
subjects to physicians and even a calculus course in a community college.
My teaching, speaking and writing skills all contribute to making me a very
effective witness. |
