Professional Experience:

|
Mr. Klein has been a Professional Engineer since 1978. His expertise is
primarily in the area of light and medium duty trailer and combination vehicle
dynamics, stability and control, handling qualities, and driver behavior. In
particular, this training and experience has been largely applied to accident
litigation cases involving trailers, tow dollies, towing vehicles, ground vehicle
aerodynamics, and roadway defects. In addition, Mr. Klein also has
experience in trailer design and components, and as such he provides
technical services to many trailer manufacturers. Furthermore, Mr. Klein
conducts combination vehicle accident/vehicle investigations throughout the
U.S. for numerous insurance companies and law firms.

From 1995 to 2008 he was the Consulting Engineer for the National
Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) and the Trailer Manufacturers
Association (TMA) of the National Marine Manufacturers Association
(NMMA). He authors technical articles, gives trailer safety seminars,
conducts vehicle inspections for compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle
Safety Standards and industry practice, and conducts testing of
manufacturer's products. He is also active in all SAE committees having to do
with trailers. This has involved the production of several SAE Recommended
Practices and Information Reports, the most recent being SAE J2807 (Tow
Vehicle Trailer Ratings), J2664 (Trailer Sway Response Test Procedure), and
J2638 (5th Wheel and Gooseneck Attachment Performance). He is a member
of the Trailer Safety Industry Coalition (TSIC) and Surge Brake Coalition
(SBC) and has given formal presentations to the NATM National Convention,
NMMA National Conference, National Truck Equipment Association
(NTEA), and the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA).
