PATRICK T. O'CONNOR, Attorney
 
Experience: Patrick T. O'Connor joined Oliver Maner LLP as a partner on January 1, 1990 concentrating on municipal and general trial work as well as personal injury and wrongful death trial work.
 
From 1985-1995, Mr. O'Connor served as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Savannah-Chatham County Recorder's Court. From 1985 to 1989, he served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Savannah and continues to represent the City of Savannah and its employees in cases ranging from civil rights claims for damages to slip and fall cases and car wreck cases. In addition, he is presently handling litigation on behalf of other municipalities and counties through the Georgia Interlocal Risk Management Agency (GIRMA) and through the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia Interlocal Risk Management Agency (ACC-IRMA). Mr. O'Connor also handles a wide range of trial work including the defense of legal malpractice claims, commercial and product liability cases and select plaintiff's personal injury and wrongful death claims.
 
Mr. O'Connor is a registered mediator and arbitrator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and has served as a mediator or arbitrator in more than 500 cases, primarily involving personal injury claims, professional malpractice claims and commercial disputes.
