Overview
MMR, Inc. serves law firms, insurance companies, and other critical industries by investigating components, products, medical devices, equipment, and structures that have failed. We provide our professional assistance, including expert witness opinion and testimony in cases involving product liability, property damage, workers' compensation, and many other claims.

We specialize in determining the cause and origin of failures resulting from improper material selection, improper fabrication, corrosion issues, service conditions, design deficiencies, or other causes. We specialize in advanced materials testing, failure analysis, forensic engineering, materials engineering, and non-destructive inspection.

We have extensive experience with metals, plastics, ceramics, and composites and our professional staff is experienced in a wide range of technical disciplines including: metallurgy, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, electron microscopy, non-destructive testing, and physical testing.

As an employee owned (ESOP) engineering, consulting, and testing firm, MMR has been providing independent professional services since 1961, and is part of The MMR Group, Inc. The Group includes three divisions, each with its own staff and laboratory to serve diverse markets and locations.

Our consulting services specialize in improving the safety, reliability, and performance of products and systems. Through scientific analysis we can determine the root cause of failures and solve materials and product problems. By determining why a product, component, or structure has broken, worn out, or prematurely failed, we can identifying what concern is responsible for the failure and then provide corrective action plans to prevent future recurrence.

You Can Use Our Facility
In addition to supporting our own investigative efforts, our specially designed and equipped 22,000 square foot facility is available to host independent investigations. Whether you have a large group, small group, or your own independent consultant, we welcome you to use our facility for establishing protocols and conducting your own independent investigations.
