Forensically sound data acquisition is paramount to your case. Improper collection of electronic evidence may be illegal if performed by a non-licensed person in Texas, or may result in spoliation of the evidence if the correct procedures are not followed AND documented. By hashing the data before it is captured, and comparing that "digital fingerprint" against the forensic clone of the data, it is possible to tell if even one bit of data has been altered.

Different cases require different tools. If your case involves thousands of email files and their attachments, culling the data may require the use of key-word searches, or restricting the search to certain periods of time. If your case involves data that may have been deleted from a hard drive, data recovery techniques may need to be employed. We output the data to your specifications whether you're using Summation, Concordance, Ringtail or a proprietary database format.

Some attorneys produce paper documents, some produce TIFF images or PDF files, and others produce data in its Native Format. Whatever your production preference, LSI will provide Electronic Bates Numbers and convert your data to any format you desire.
