Josephson Werdowatz & Associates, Incorporated (JW&A) was originally
founded in 1988. Since our inception we have become one of the pre-eminent
forensic structural engineering firms in the Western United States. We have
conducted forensic investigations on over 1000 projects involving structural
collapse, defect analysis, earthquake damage, water damage, soil movement
and distress, and fire damage. These investigations have included visual
inspections, invasive testing, review of available documents, and preparation
of independent analyses. Carl H. Josephson, S.E. and Dan R. Werdowatz,
S.E. have testified at depositions, trials, and arbitrations in over 300 matters.
Our engineering and drafting staff have extensive experience in both the
investigation of problem structures as well as in the development of creative
solutions. |

Our CAD and Graphics department has extensive experience in the
preparation of accurate, scaled 3D models and animations in a wide range
of areas that, besides structural engineering, include architectural, fire,
mechanical, and soils issues. By using three dimensional renderings and
animations, JW&A has set a standard for explaining complex engineering
concepts to lay people that other firms have yet to duplicate. |
