James Gannalo is a former NYPD detective and practicing Independent
Forensic Consultant with twenty years of practical experience in the field of
firearms testing, shooting incident reconstruction and firearms identification.
He has combined his advanced skills, training and experience as an examiner
to assist attorneys with firearms related criminal and civil casework in more
than a dozen states. Additionally, he has successfully assisted the New York
City and Philadelphia police departments by providing training for forty-two
examiners in firearms operability testing, courtroom testimony and
microscopic analysis of shooting related evidence. |

Mr. Gannalo is the founder of the Stria Consulting Group which is comprised
of a number of former members of the NYPD possessing forensic expertise in
a variety of forensic disciplines including questioned document analysis,
crime scene reconstruction, hair and fiber analysis, criminalistics, fingerprint
identification and trace evidence analysis. |
