J. Michael Dorsey Consulting provides consulting and expert witness services
nationwide on the requirements of HUD programs for property owners,
property managers, public agencies, real estate brokers, and the attorneys who
represent them. Mr. Dorsey is an expert on the FHA Single Family Mortgage
Insurance Program. He also provides training in Fair Housing compliance. |

Mr. Dorsey is an attorney admitted to practice in Missouri and the District of
Columbia. He was General Counsel of HUD, Assistant Secretary for Public
and Indian Housing and HUD Acting Secretary. He also served as the
Administrative Counsel for the US House of Representatives and Chief of
Administrative Services for the US Department of Homeland Security. He
currently volunteers as President of Habitat for Humanity of the Telluride
Region. |

Mr. Dorsey's law practice involved representation of public housing agencies,
multi-family owners and managers, non-profit organizations, single family
developers, brokers, and others involved with HUD programs. In his
consulting practice, Mr. Dorsey has provided expert witness services in FHA
Single Family fraud criminal prosecutions, and civil litigation involving
the public housing program, multi-family housing program, homeless
housing programs, and environmental assessment requirements. He has also
provided Fair Housing compliance training and consulting services on local
government governance issues. |
