Howard C. Adelman, M.D. has over thirty years experience in the field of Anatomic, Forensic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Cytopathology, as well as in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He is also certified in Forensic Medicine and as a Forensic Examiner by the American Board of Forensic Examiners. He is also certified in Forensic Medicine and as a Forensic Examiner of Suffolk County New York. Howard C. Adelman, M.D. has been recognized as a forensic and pathology expert in the states of New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.
 
With over thirty years experience in the field of Anatomic, Clinical and Forensic Pathology as well as Cytopathology, Howard C. Adelman, M.D., a former Deputy Chief Medical Examiner was the primary investigator in the "Amityville Horror" as well as in the landmark case that provided the addition of the concept of brain death to the legal definition of death as well as in other high profile cases. On approximately a 50/50 ratio on behalf of plaintiff/defendant, he has consulted in malpractice cases, criminal cases, as well as death investigations including cause and manner of death.
