Located just outside of Washington, D.C., BEK TEK LLC is dedicated to
providing objective, scientific examinations of audio and video media
(both analog and digital), including the authentication of audio and video
recordings, enhancement of voice and visual information, identification/
classification of non-voice signals, voice comparison, and preparation of
audio/video materials for trial. Our highly qualified examiners possess
preeminent scientific expertise with over 80 years of combined experience
within the forensic audio/video discipline, physics/math/engineering degrees,
over 30 peer-reviewed published papers, and significant testimony experience
in criminal, civil, and administrative matters. |

BEK TEK LLC's three primary associates are former forensic examiners
with the FBI, having been trained and certified by the prestigious FBI
engineering section: |

Bruce E. Koenig, senior examiner and owner of BEK TEK LLC, has been
involved full-time in the forensic analysis of audio and video recordings since
1974. He was a Supervisory Special Agent for the FBI from 1974 through
his retirement at the end of 1995, ending his career as manager and senior
audio examiner for the Audio/Video Signal Processing program. |

Douglas S. Lacey served as an Electronics Engineer/Forensic Examiner
for the FBI from 1996 through 2003, where he specialized in audio
enhancement, authenticity, and signal analysis, as well as the analysis of
digital recordings produced by proprietary law enforcement recorders and
consumer devices. |

|
Steven A. Killion has been involved full-time in either the forensic analysis
of audio and video recordings or in direct support of FBI technical operations
since 1971. Mr. Killion was a Supervisory Special Agent, Unit Chief, and
Section Chief for the FBI from 1971 through his retirement in 1997. |
