Profile: |
Dennis J. Ryan and his staff of highly qualified Forensic Document
Examiners maintain a 21st Century state of the art forensic laboratory
specializing in the area of Questioned Documents and Handwriting
Examinations. Many other types of examinations are also conducted
including the flawless integration with the other disciplines of Forensic
Science (DNA, criminalistics, firearms etc...) We are able to provide digital
courtroom presentations where practicable. Having a full staff of qualified
examiners enables us to specialize in multi faceted examinations involving
a large number of disputed documents. |
|
|
Applied Forensics maintains an OnScene Examinations unit; a unique
service where our examiners can perform a variety of scientific document
examinations and analyses in the field when a disputed document cannot
come to the lab. If you suspect that a document has been forged, is not
genuine, or has undergone any form of manipulation or alteration, our staff
of professional and efficient field examiners will conduct all necessary
examinations on-site and/or thoroughly photograph and document evidence
to be further examined and interpreted in the laboratory. |
|
|
|
The scope of our work includes: the examination of handwriting, hand
printing, typewriting, computer generated documents, stamp and seal
impressions, paper, and photocopies, detection of erasures, alterations
and/or additions, nondestructive ink examinations involving writing
instruments, paper examinations; decipherment and restoration of erased,
and obliterated writing and indentation analysis. |
