Allison Smith, principal of Specialty Claims Consultants provides impartial
and objective testimony on first and third party claims procedures. Her
expertise includes knowledge of industry practices based on over twenty-five
years of practical experience. Her testimony is based on objective case
analysis and evaluation, policy and coverage interpretations. She is available
for testimony on all aspects of automobile, general liability, construction
defect and property claims. She has served as an expert witness for both
insurers and insureds in numerous matters involving fair claims handling,
industry standards, additional insured issues, duty to defend and rescission.
She has also served as an expert witness in matters involving legal audit and
reasonableness of fees in various Federal and State cases. She is the owner
of Specialty Claims Consultants, a licensed independent adjustment company.
